Rig Metals, part of the MIS Group, is a well established contractor specialised in onshore rig refurbishment and High Pressure Piping for the onshore and offshore rig industry. This period has been critical for the business which has achieved several significant milestones recently, highlights of which are: Rig Metals received the API 4F certification which further expands our scope of services to cover masts and substructures as well as other 4F products. This certification coincides with the evolving nature of the business which now covers more design and engineering, 3D modeling, hydraulic and electrical works, examples of which you will see in our ‘projects’ section.

This period also saw several organisational changes introduced. We expanded our design department as an independent revenue stream offering our clients calculation and modeling services for all projects, we have further improved our safety measures across the board, introduced the Balanced Scorecard methodology as Rig Metals becomes more integrated in the MIS Group and more focused on future growth targets. All these changes, which build on Rig Metals’ existing philosophy, will directly benefit our valued clients.
