Rig Metals’ main fabrication is focused on oilfield service and drilling packages such as: Mud systems, pony subs & masts, equipped skids, water & fuel tanks, custom trailers, burner booms, gantry cranes etc…for oilfield service and drilling companies.

High Pressure Piping

Rig Metals highly specializes in high pressure piping fabrication (HP piping systems 5ksi and 7.5ksi and associated manifolds) from pup joints to standpipe, cement and mud pump manifolds. Rig Metals has a large stock of carbon steel HP piping (i.e. X52 and 4130 ranging from 2" to 6" dia. XXS), and other piping accessories (valves, fittings, & connections).

Design Projects

Our focus on the oilfield service and drilling industries allows us to utilize our experience and database to design projects from scratch based on client concepts or specs. We have worked on a number of complex projects for onshore and offshore applications successfully over the years. Our engineering department personnel are experienced in the latest FEA & 3D modelling software in the market.

Rig Refurbishment

Rig Metals’ yard and workshop allows it to undertake rig refurbishment projects at very competitive rates and with more flexibility than larger yards. Rig Metals regularly works with reputed mechanical and electrical workshops and could offer turnkey services for equipment refurbishment. Moreover it offers office space fully furnished and equipped on project duration basis and if needed; the accommodation of key clients’ personnel.

Personnel Deployment / Project Management

Rig Metals can deploy teams of highly qualified and experienced welders, fitters and supervisors to undertake site installation and hook-up works worldwide (Middle East, East Asia, Africa, amongst others)
